Veer Chotrani and Anahat Singh reached to the World Squash Championship Asia Qualifier final in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Saturday.
The second seeded Chotrani clinched a comfortable 3-1 (11-7, 11-6, 7-11, 11-4) victory against Chi Him Wong, his eighth-seeded opponent from Hong Kong, China.
Chotrani has set up the final with his Malaysian third-seed counter-part Ameeshenraj Chandaran.
The 17-year-old Anahat, seeded fifth, clinched an easy 3-0 victory over Helen Tang, eighth seed from Hong Kong, China, 3-0 (11-2, 11-7, 11-6).
Anahat will take on China’s Toby Tse in the summit clash after the latter’s 3-1 (11-3, 12-10, 10-12, 11-8) win over Akanksha Salunkhe in the second semifinal.
The winners of the tournament will qualify for the World Championships, slated to run from May 9 to 17 in Chicago.
