The World Tennis League 2024, slated to run from Thursday at the iconic Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, will put debt-free penny stock ‘Toyam Sports Limited’ in focus with its price likely to go higher.
Toyam Sports Ltd., incorporated in 1985 is involved in the business of sports, fitness, fashion, films, and entertainment, with its current stock priced at INR 2.41.
The owners of TSL Hawks booked revenue of INR 0.49 crore in September 2024. Their team’s impressive roster will feature World No.1 Aryna Sabalenka, the talented young sensation Mirra Andreeva, the experienced Jordan Thompson, and India’s top tennis player Sumit Nagal.
The TSL Hawks will face Game Changers Falcons, featuring top guns like Elena Rybakina and Andrey Rublev, in their inaugural draw.
Each match consists of four sets: men’s singles, women’s singles, and two doubles sets, which may include men’s doubles, women’s doubles, or mixed doubles, as determined by the team that wins the coin toss.
The unique format of the league will see the match go into overtime (OT) if a trailing team wins the fourth set. OT will continue until the leading team wins one more game or the trailing team matches the overall game total. If the game scores are equal, the match will be decided by a Super Shootout.
The same players playing the fourth set will continue to play the Super Shootout. The first to reach 10 points wins, with sudden death at 9-9. The winner of the Super Shootout will be awarded one game and also earn two additional bonus points.
