Delhi capitals batter Vipraj Nigam on Monday added the depth that was required in chasing the target of 210 set by Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025.
Nigam, along with Ashutosh Sharma, kept the leather hunt alive by notching up 39 runs off 15 deliveries, including five boundaries and two sixes. It was the knock that etched his name in the IPL history books in his debut innings.
Nigam is a new-comer in every format of the game. He plays for Uttar Pradesh in the domestic circuit, where he has scalped 13 wickets in three matches at a best bowling figures of 4/81. The leg-spinner has claimed eight wickets in T20s with an economy rate of 7.12.
The bowling all-rounder averages 16 with the bat in the T20s, 3.00 in List A, and 10.75 in FC cricket.
He was bought for INR 50 lakh by Delhi Capitals for the IPL 2025.
