India’s top-ranked men’s doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will be eyeing their first podium finish at the India Open, starting February 14.
The duo will be making sure to bring their A-Game at home and produce the best result after a semi-final finish at the Malaysia Open 2025, at the beginning of the year.
Ahead of the BWF Super 750 event, the pair revealed their choice of badminton equipment.
Satwiksairaj has been using the Yonex Duora Z-Strike badminton racquet for a long time while equipping himself with the Yonex Power Cushion SHB 65Z3 badminton shoes. His go-to strings, meanwhile, are the Yonex BG80.
Chirag banks on the Yonex Arcsaber 11 Pro badminton racquet and the Yonex Power Cushion SHBZ3 badminton shoes. He equips his racquet with Yonex BG80 and Yonex BG65, depending upon the tactical adjustments in the game.
However, the Indian pair, are keen on the new Yonex Power Cushion 65Z4 shoes.
The former world No. 1 men’s doubles pair, the 2022 Indian Open champions, will face Malaysia’s Wei Chong Man and Kai Wun Tee in their opening round on Tuesday.
