Thinaah Muralitharan carried her women’s doubles partner Pearly Tan across the All England Open 2025 media zone in a display of their strong bond.
Incidentally, Pearly injured her right ankle during the match against Indonesia’s Apriyani Rahayu-Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti at the Utilita Arena Birmingham.
The injury was caused by a bad landing midway through the second game. She was seen in pain on the court before undergoing medical with Muralitharan’s support.
The Malaysian won the match 21-16, 21-14.
