Jamaican track and field legend Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce broke no sweat in defeating fellow mothers in the parent’s race at his son’s school.

The two-time 100m Olympic champion used her professional sprinting abilities to her advantage to crush opponents, leaving a real daylight between her and them at the finish line.

“They haven’t banned me yet so I’m at the line,” she said on an Instagram post with some laughing emojis and a rocket.

The 38-year-old shared pictures of her son Zyon’s sports day on her Instagram handle.

The clips of her win, including some drone shots, are going viral on the internet. Incidentally, her son also bagged the top podium finish, making it a double gold victory for the Pryce family.

On being asked on her decision to compete in the parent race, she said, “Yes, why not? I’m a parent,” she said. ‘It said parent race so I showed up for the parent race.”

Although it was not an official race, the Jamaican legend was in great form.

After missing out on a medal at the Paris 2024 semi-finals due to an injury; she has returned for the 2025 track & field season.
