The Waldner Cup 2024, established by table tennis legend Jan-Ove Waldner and sanctioned by the Norwegian Table Tennis Association (NTTA), is slated to run from December 13 to 15 in Oslo, Norway.
The three-day event will pit two teams — Team World vs Team Asia — against each other led by their respective captains Waldner and six-time Olympic champions Ma Long.

Waldner Cup 2024: Format
Each captain will pick player/players to face the rival team. Teams will earn one point for a win on the first day and two points on second. The team to reach the most points will be declared the Waldner Cup champion.

A charity match will take place on December 13, featuring celebrities like Henrik Elvestad, Tommy Urhaug, and Aida Dahlen playing alongside the players from the two teams.
The main event will take place on December 14 and 15 with the matches set to begin at 2pm local time (06:30pm IST).
