The Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) has retained the same 20-member squad from the Badminton Asia Championships for the Sudirman Cup 2025, slated to run from April 27 to May 4 in Xiamen, China.
The 20 member provisional squad, including Asian champions Aaron Chia-Soh Wooi Yik (men’s doubles) has been declared fit by the coaching directors Kenneth Jonassen (singles) and Rexy Mainaky (doubles).
The men’s doubles contingent will include Goh Sze Fei-Nur Izzuddin Rumsani, Man Wei Chong-Tee Kai Wun along with singles shuttlers Leong Jun Hao, Justin Hoh; Goh Jin Wei K. Letshanaa (women’s singles); Pearly Tan, M. Thinaah, Go Pei Kee, Carmen Ting (women’s doubles); and Goh Soon Huat, Shevon Lai Jemie, Hoo Pang Ron, Cheng Su Yin, Chen Tang Jie and Toh Ee Wei (mixed doubles).
Malaysia are drawn with Japan, France and Australia in Group C. They will need to finish in top two to progress into the last eight.
