Special Olympics Winter Games 2025: SO Bharat Campaign Concludes With 33 Medals

Special Olympics Bharat, the official governing body for India at the Special Olympics Winter Games 2025, concluded their campaign with 33 medals — 8 Gold, 18 Silver, and 7 Bronze — in Turin, Italy, on Saturday.

On the final day, India clinched nine medals, including a bronze in the women’s floorball division A competition while alpine skiiing continued to hold the momentum for SO Bharat, adding three more silver.

The women’s floorball team, including Anu, Ashaben, Divya, Janhavi, Nandita, Pinkalben, Riya, and Sipra, clinched a dominating 10-2 win against Trinidad and Tobago to clinch the bronze,

Akriti (cross-country skiing 100m Classical Technique – F02) and Jahangir (snowshoeing 25m Dinal M04) bagged a bronze medal each.

In snowboarding, Bharti clinched multiple medals.

This concluded India’s journey at the 12th Special Olympics Winter Games 2025 which was played after a long break of eight years.
