Abhinav Bindra, India’s first-ever Olympic gold medalist, celebrated the unity and strength of the nation on occasion of the 76th Republic Day on Sunday.

The Indian constitution was formed on January 26th, 1950. It completed 75 years since then, bringing joy and oneness to the country, which was celebrated at the Kartavya Path in New Delhi.

“🇮🇳 Happy Republic Day! 🇮🇳 Today, we celebrate the spirit of unity and the strength of our great nation. Let’s honor the journey of India and work together for a brighter future. Jai Hind! 🙏,” Bindra said on X.

PR Sreejesh, the two-time Olympic bronze medalist, who received the Padma Bhushan on the eve of 76th Republic Day also joined the celebration.

“Grateful beyond words for the honour of the Padma Bhushan and for the support of this incredible nation. Wishing everyone a Happy Republic Day,” Sreejesh said on X.

Indian batting legend Sachin Tendulkar, Paris 2024’s breakthrough shuttler Lakshya Sen and seasoned Indian badminton player HS Prannoy, also conveyed their wishes to the citizens and the fans celebrating all around the world.

“From the Himalayas to the Indian Ocean, from vibrant cities to serene villages, our strength lies in our diversity. Proud to be a citizen of this incredible country, our home…India. Happy Republic Day! Jai Hind!,” Sachin Tendulkar said on X.

“As an athlete, I carry the pride of India wherever I go. Wishing everyone a day filled with pride, joy, and patriotism. Happy Republic Day to everyone! #RepublicDay2025,” Lakshya Sen said.

“Proud to be an Indian, proud to represent this great nation. Happy Republic Day! 🇮🇳,” Prannoy said.
