In a bid to drive cricket fans towards betting and earning money, ‘Online IPL Betting’ was trending during the Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants’ IPL 2025 clash at the Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam on Monday.

As per a report, there are no federal laws to prohibit online betting in India. However, recently, some states had had made explicit laws against online betting with the Public Gambling Act of 1867 still in place.
The first inning in the DC vs LSG turned out to be high-scoring. Mitchell Marsh (72) and Nicholas Pooran (75) played high-scoring knocks to guide the Lucknow franchise to 209/8.
After their dismissals, wickets started to fall like pack of cards but David Miller’s unbeaten knock of 27 off 19 deliveries helped them to score a challenging total.
Mitchell Starc was the pick of the bowlers for DC as he returned figures of 3/42.
“I thought we batted really well, wanted a few more after the way we started, but I think 210 is a very competitive score. I think it’s all about backing your skills. Need to keep a partnership going when you are in. You got to back the guys coming in after that kind of start. Credit to the Delhi boys to pull things back like the way they did. It was swinging a bit I think (laughs.) I like Vizag, it’s a beautiful wicket down here, the batters enjoyed it. Hopefully our bowlers will do the job. Life is good mate. No bowling (laughs.),” Marsh said after the match.
