Indian hockey team’s Mandeep Singh and Udita Duhan are set to tie the knot at a gurdwara in Model Town on March 21.
The India men’s team forward and Indian women’s defender were a part of the national contingent in Tokyo 2020.
Jalandhar based Mandeep won the bronze medal at Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024 while the Hisar native was a part of the squad that finished fourth in Japan. Incidentally, the India women’s team did not qualify for Paris 2024.
Their respective families are distributing invitations for the gala wedding, a report in The Tribune states.
The report also states that a DJ party is organized from Mandeep’s side which all the hockey players are set to attend on March 19.
The marriage will take place as per Sikh rituals on March 21 while the reception will take place, next day.
