The first-ever World Para Athletics Grand Prix in New Delhi is set to run from March 11 to 13 at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
The New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix will feature 20 countries with 250 para-athletes, including 145 Indian and 105 overseas athletes, making it one of the largest events hosted in India.
Uzbekistan, the Philippines, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Nepal, Bhutan, and Sri Lanka, have begun their training for the New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix.
Maroon Peters, the German para-athletics coach, has hailed the host venue while inspecting the facilities, accommodations, and event organization in the run-up to the main event.

He, meanwhile, pointed out that areas like long jump and throw sections might require some refinement.
UAE will be one of the nations to watch out for after securing 21 medals at the recently concluded Fazza Para Athletics Grand Prix 2025. The nation will further look to build on their momentum from the past success.
Kazakhstan, a dominant force in the 2022 Asian Para Games, impressed with 41 medals, including 8 gold, and will be eyeing for another strong show.
The three-day event will feature over 90 competitions.
