The first clay court ATP Masters 1000 event — Monte Carlo-Masters — will commence from Sunday.
French wild card Richard Gasquet is competing at the event for the final time and will face Matteo Arnaldi on Court Rainieer III.
In the men’s doubles event, Stefanos Tsitsipas, a three-time champion, will team up with his brother Petros Tsitsipas, while Alexander Zverev takes to court with Marcelo Melo.
This year’s Monte Carlo Masters will be the first without ‘King Of Clay’ Rafael Nadal. The top contender is the tour will be world No. 2 Alexander Zverev and No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz, who are looking to close in the gap, with World No.1 Jannik Sinner, who is still suspended.
