World No.5 Novak Djokovic is set to face a familiar foe in the Round of 32 clash at the Monte Carlo-Masters 2025 on Tuesday.
The 24-grand slam champion will face 32nd-ranked Alejandro Tabilo in his opening match in the Monte Carlo-Masters 2025.
Tabilo defeated 2014 champion Stan Wawrinka 1-6, 7-5, 7-5 in the first round Monday. He had defeated the Serbian at the Italian Open, last year.
Djokovic, who was give a first-round bye, won five games against Talibo in Rome.
It will be Djokovic’s first match since losing the Miami Open final to Jakub Mensik.
The Monte Carlo-Masters is the first big clay tournament.
