Top Indian shuttlers Lakshya Sen, Chirag Shetty-Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Ashwini Ponnappa-Tanisha Crasto, and Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand will feature in the year’s first tournament, Malaysia Open 2025, slated to run from January 7 to 12 in Kuala Lumpur.
The annual badminton event has been held since 1937. It will be hosted at the Putra Indoor Stadium, currently named as Axiata Arena for sponsorship reasons, with a prize money of US$1,450,000 on offer.
