Interestingly, Gujarat paddlers topped the medal chart, winning four gold, five silver and 12 bronze for an overall tally of 21 medals. Haryana followed them with nine medals, including three gold, three silver and two bronze. Maharashtra finished third with six medals, including three gold, and three bronze medals.

Yezdi, despite losing the opening game to state mate Vikas Thakur, bounced back with determination, winning the next three games—including a nail-biting fourth—to secure the title with a 3-1 victory. Bhavika mirrored the resilience, recovering from a close first-game loss to outplay her Gujarat teammate Jamani Nurjahan Noorali 3-1.

In Class 7, Karnataka’s Sanjeev G. Hammannavar survived a tense final against PU’s Shivam Pal, clinching key moments in the first and third games and holding off a late challenge to win 3-1.

UP’s Prachi Pandey displayed dominance, cruising past Rajasthan’s Kanchan Ban with minimal resistance on the women’s side.

As competition moved into less demanding classes, Karnataka’s Shashidhar Kulkarni blanked Gajanan Parmar of MP 3-0 in the Class 8 final, though he had to dig deep in the third game, winning on his sixth match point. Maharashtra’s Dattaprasad Jotiram Chougule also secured a straight-game victory over Haryana’s Ravinder Yadav in the same class.

In women’s Class 9, Haryana’s Mehak Kaur held her nerve to save four game points in the opener before sealing a 3-0 win over Tamil Nadu’s Baby Sahana. Telangana’s Nisha Innani, after dropping the first game, rallied to defeat Karnataka’s Savita V. Ajjanakatti 3-1, grinding through a crucial deuce in the third.

The men’s Class 10 final saw Maharashtra’s Vishwa Vijay Tambe edge out Haryana’s Jagannath Mukherjee 3-0, prevailing in two closely fought opening games. In a thrilling finish to the day, Madhya Pradesh’s Devyani Walhe staged a brilliant comeback from 1-2 down to overcome Delhi’s Natania Jain 3-2, winning the decider in deuce and bringing the curtains down on the event with a memorable gold.
