ISSF World Cup 2025 Lima: India’s Medal Winners

Simranpreet Kaur Brar clinched a silver medal in the Women’s 25m pistol event in the ISSF World Cup 2025 Lima on Sunday as India concluded with seven medals.

This was the first time that Brar won a World Cup medal.

She scored a total of 33 hits in the final to finish second while People’s Republic of China’s Sun Yujie won the gold medal with a score of 34. Her compatriot Yao Qianxun bagged the bronze with a total of 29.

Incidentally, double Olympic medalist Manu Bhaker finished fourth with 22 shots while Esha Singh, one half of the mixed team pistol world champions, finished sixth with 17 hits.

Bhaker had finished second in the qualifying with a total of 585 while Simranpreet was fifth with 580 and Esha Singh was eighth with a total of 575.
