Saurabh Chaudhary had a disappointing end to the men’s 10m air pistol event as he finished at the 18th spot in the qualification at the ISSF World Cup in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Thursday.
Chaudhary accumulated 577 points by shooting 14 inner 10s.
However, there was hope for a medal, as his compatriots Ravinder Singh and Varun Tomar advanced to the finals.
Ravinder finished at sixth spot with 160 points while Varun finished fifth in the final with 179.9 points.
Earlier in the day, Ravinder and Varun qualified for the final by shooting 580 each.
Meanwhile, Amit Sharma and Aakash Bhardwaj, scored 579 and 577 respectively in the qualification round.
The skeet men’s and women’s qualification round in currently underway with Bhavtegh Singh Gill, Gurjoat Khangura, Anant Jeet Singh Naruka and Ganemat Sekhon, Raiza Dhillon, Darshna Rathore in action.
