The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is gripping the nation and Bengaluru is a part of it.
The Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) hometown has decided to extend the timing of their metro trains during the match days.
The initiative taken by Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) has been taken to facilitate fans when the matches end beyond the regular working hours of the metro trains.
This shows the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited’s (BMRCL) ability to take responsibility of their citizens. The newly adjusted timings not only show BMRCL catering towards sports but also making the metro more accessible for the locals.
Each local citizen is advised to consider the timing changes when planning their journeys and to follow the BMRCL announcements regarding adjustments to services.
BMRCL has made changes to the schedule and the last services of the four terminals: Whitefield (Kadugodi), Challaghatta, Silk Institute and Madavara. These stations will be open to local commuters past midnight.
RCB’s next home match is against the Gujarat Titans on Wednesday.
