Team India captain Rohit Sharma led from the front, notching up 119 runs off 90 deliveries, to chase down the target of 305 runs with 33 balls to spare in the second ODI.
His opening partner and deputy Shubman Gill contributed 60 runs to the tally with Shreyas Iyer (44) continuing his fine run and floater batter Axar Patel (41 not) making the most of his license to have a go at the oppositions.
Earlier, opting to bat, Ben Duckett (65) and Joe Root (69) guided England to a respectable total with Ravindra Jadeja picking three wickets.
The visitors will hope for a consolation while playing for their pride in the final clash.
