Loh Kean Yew added to his momentum by entering the German Open 2025 semi-finals on Thursday.

The 2021 World Champion defeated  Jason Teh 21-10, 21-14 in 35 minutes to set up a semi-finals clash against Takahashi Koo (Japan).

The all-Singaporean match was lopsided with Loh taking five straight points after giving a slender advantage to his opponent.

The 27-year-old, behind the double Olympic medalist Viktor Axelsen, was in full control of the procedings.

Loh records only 5 of the 15 matches before the German Open. He crashed out six times in the BWF World Tour Events. However, the results in German Open will offer him an opportunity to climb into the top 10. He must keep the momentum.

The semi-finals and finals from Mülheim will be available to stream
