The Executive Board of the Organising Committee (OCOG) for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games French Alps 2030 has confirmed the appointment of Cyril Linette as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

He will oversee the operational, legal and financial aspects of the OCOG under the leadership of French Alps 2030 President Edgar Grospiron, who proposed his appointment, an official media release said.

“Cyril Linette is an innovative, constructive and forward-thinking leader. He brings a clear vision for value creation, budget management, team performance and content distribution,” said Grospiron.

Today, the Games are as much a sporting event as a huge platform for emotionally powerful content. Cyril has the ability to think in terms of content, form and practical application all at once.

Linette, 54, has a wide range of experience in the sports, media and business worlds, having served as Head of the Sports Division at French television channel Canal+, Director General of French sports daily L’Équipe and CEO of French horse racing industry group Pari Mutuel Urbain (PMU).
