Viktor Axelsen’s hunt for a third title at the All England Open 2025 came to an early end on Wednesday.
The Dane lost 21-19, 13-21, 21-11 to Taiwan’s Lin Chun-Yi to record the biggest upset in All England Open this season.
Following the clash, he admitted that he was not in the pink of health and will take an indefinite break.

“I didn’t have the best feeling out there. I think it’ll be a while before I’m back on court,“ he told Danish TV2.
“I don’t want to go into details. I think a longer break is ahead for me.”
Meanwhile, Olympic champion An Se-Young of South Korea cinched an easy 21-16, 21-14 victory over China’s Gao Fang Jie.
