India’s campaign at the All England Open 2025 came to an end on Friday as men’s singles shuttler Lakhsya Sen and women’s doubles pair Treesa Jolly-Gayatri Gopichand were knocked out in the respective matches.

It was a tough contest for Sen as he lost 10-21, 16-21 in a 45-minute quarter-finals contest against the 6th seeded Li Shi Feng on Saturday.

Treesa and Gayatri started well but struggled to maintain the momentum. The women’s doubles pair lost  14-21, 10-21 to the second seeded Liu Sheng Shu and Tan Ning in a 46 minutes match.

Sen had defeated defending champion Jonathan Christie of Indonesia on Thursday while the women’s doubles pair got the better off South Korea’s Hye Jeong Kim and Hee Yong Kong 15-21, 21-18, 21-18 in the pre-quarters.
