28th Federation Cup 2025: WATCH Sachin Yadav Hurls Javelin To Gold Medal Spot

Uttar Pradesh’s Sachin Yadav continues to make headlines in the Indian javelin throw ecosystem in 2025.

Yadav continued to add to his rise by clinching a gold medal in the 28th Federation Cup on Monday with the best effort of 83.86m.

Interestingly, Yadav recorded no foul throws in the 28th Federation Cup to finish ahead of  Yashvir Singh, who finished second with a best of 80.85m. Meanwhile, Sahil Saliwal claimed third spot with a throw of 77.84m.

The battle was between Yadav and Saliwal as they stood out in the field of Indian domestic javelin throwers. Yadav hit 80.22m on his second attempt while Saliwal impressed with 80.22m on his second attempt. 

Kishore Jena missed out the podium by 0.2m as he finished fourth with a throw of 77.82m.
