World Para Athletics on Monday announced World Championships medal programme with 15 additional events compared to the last two editions in Kobe 2024 and Paris 2023 in an official media release.
The New Delhi 2025 World Para Athletics Championships will take place from September 27 to October 5, 2025 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.

Athlete qualification will be determined by achieving minimum entry standards (MES) at a World Para Athletics recognised competition for each of their events between 1 January 2024 and 3 August 2025 (inclusive).
All athletes have to be internationally classified in an eligible sport class with a sport class status Confirmed or Review with a Fixed Review Date of 2026 or later.
The end of qualification period for athletes to achieve MES performances is August 3, 2025.
