The draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, slated to run from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026 in Morocco was confirmed.
24 nations found out their fate during the AFCON 2025 draw in Rabat on Monday, including defending champions Cote D’Ivoire, record winners Egypt and hosts Morocco.
The tournament will take place in six cities over four weeks.

AFCON 2025 Draw: Format For Men’s Africa Cup of Nations
AFCON 2025 will get underway from December 21 with Morocco hosting Comoros at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
The 24 teams have been drawn six groups where they face-off in round-robin format of three matches in group matches.
The top two teams will qualify for the knockout stage with the third-placed team competing for the remaining spots.
The best four teams out of the six which finished third will join the rest in Round of 16.
From there on, it will be a knockout tournament till the AFCON 2025 final on January 18, 2026.
