Nepal will be represented by a four-member team in alpine skiing at the 9th Asian Winter Games in Harbin, China.
The Nepal Olympic Committee revealed two male and two female athletes accompanied by a coach will represent Nepal in the alpine skiing competition at the February 7-14 showpiece.
The athletes are Laxmi Rai and Debora Timalsina (women) and Saphal Ram Shrestha and Chhowang Mingyur Tamang (men).
“The athletes are receiving necessary training at the moment. Some of them have already earned medals for the country at Asian level,” said Sujan Lal Shrestha, Executive Secretary of the Nepal Olympic Committee.
