Following consecutive semi-final finishes in 2025, India’s top-ranked men’s doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will be eyeing their first triumph at the Indonesia Masters 2025, starting at Jakarta on January 21.
Satwik-Chirag are seeded fourth in the BWF Super 500 event. They have been drawn against Chinese Taipei’s Chen Zhi-rey and Lin Yu-chieh in the first round.
Double Olympic medalist PV Sindhu, seeded no.7, will be eager to put her best foot forward under new Indonesian women’s singles coach Irwansyah Adi Pratama after losing in the quarter-finals at the India Open 2025. She will face Chinese Taipei’s Sung Shuo-yun in the first round.
India’s rising start Malvika Bansod will also feature in the women’s singles event while the men’s singles challenge will be led by Paris 2024 breakthrough star Lakshya Sen.
